Not everything about an author’s career is café lattes and sunshine. Every author encounters ups and downs on her journey, and you don’t often hear about the bad stuff. Award-winning author Gwyn Cready will be giving a talk about some of the scarier things that happened to her, including having the editor who bought her first book leave the publisher a month later, having her agent change agencies, and having a publisher not fulfill the terms of her contract. Cready will take you through the details, teaching you what to be prepared for and how to ride the bumps and believe in yourself.
The author of six romance novels with three more on the way, Gwyn Cready is the recipient of the 2009 RITA Award for Best Paranormal Romance. She has been called “the master of time travel romance.” She lives on Mt. Washington with her family.
I so wish I could be there, but there is no way. Please post a synopsis on the site if you can…although nothing is as good as being there.
Enjoy!
