Please join us for our next meeting on Saturday, February 22, 2014 at 10 am at the Bridgeville Public Library.

Speaker: Thomas White will present Historic Research for Novelists.

Historian, archivist, and writer Thomas White will discuss ways in which writers can research and create historically accurate settings for their fictional works. White will discuss resources available at the local, state and national levels, and the differences between academic and popular history. He will also explain how to access these historical resources and how to get in touch with experts in the field.

2 Comments:

  1. What a great topic! Unfortunately, I have a conflict and can’t be there. Boo. I look forward to the next meeting though!

  2. I also have another engagement for the day and am sad I have to miss. Our scout troop offers two ski events every winter and this is the second one. I’ll be sitting by the fire at Hidden Valley, watching the stuff at the tables and taking a little time to write (I hope!) See you in March.
